This is it. The photo series that is a 100% me and my photography and that represents my style the best. Super simple, minimalistic. The model and me shooting at the beach. Changing outfits now and then. By my side my dear love, Dominik best assistant ever. No other equipment but my camera and my beloved 35mm lense. There you have it. This is my style. Love it or leave it.

Warsaw

Our trip to Warsaw begins with an 11 hour bus drive from Vienna to Poland. We pass cities, we have never been to and fields with thousands of dead sunflowers, which are still beautiful. At night we arrive in the centre of Warsaw and are picked up by my dear friend Ada, who I have not seen in months. She is one of the most wonderful souls I ever met and I could not wait to see her again. We are welcomed at her home with Cider and ice-cream and laugh until we have tears running down our cheeks and fall asleep in our bed in the lounge. Ada’s brother joins us on our adventures the next days. Both of them share the same humor as Dominik and I do and we laugh more than we do sightseeing. We are shown the best vegan restaurants and get the best view over the city from the Palace of Culture and Science. We get lost in the most beautiful parks and nearly get our phones robbed by cheeky little squirrels. We are taken to a roller disco one evening. A place I have been dreaming of going to since watching „La Boum“ with Sophie Marceau years ago. My feet feel like jelly after the disco and we spoil ourselves with more ice-cream and apple pie and watch the 1982 musical „Annie“ until we fall asleep. The next day we are shown a beautiful garden on top of the University Library which turns out to be a wonderful photo shoot location. We walk along the river in the evening, talking about how we would like to swap our names and learning more polish swearwords. In return we teach them Austrian words. We giggle about the wrong pronunciation. The next morning we get up early, saying our goodbyes and then making our way home on the bus again. 11 hours later we arrive back in Vienna.
